Training and Communications Specialist

We are looking for an enthusiastic, resourceful and customer focused HR professional to join our global Human Resources team. You will be responsible for assessing, creating and delivering training content in various forms.  Ultimately translating business needs into training offerings and communications materials that drive engagement with our employees across the company. Attention to detail is therefore key!

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the creation of creative internal content in various forms e.g. video and digital content
  • Coordinating the development, execution, refinement, and measuring the impact of the Learning systems outreach, communications, and knowledge management strategies
  • Monitor and measure the effectiveness of communications through digital analytics, surveys, and other key performance indicators
  • Asses training needs of each department and provide solutions to support the teams through partnering with team leaders
  •  Plan and administer training sessions, including but not limited to: new hire training suites, on-boarding, management effectiveness, career development
  • Proactively build and manage relationships with key internal stakeholders across a range of businesses areas
  • Manage content libraries and consistently review to determine opportunities to improve the learning and communications experience for our employees, ensure the content is current, relevant and that the best technology platform is used
  • Create communications content that drives engagement with our employees
  • Translate business needs into training offerings and communications materials
  • Deliver and support communications, knowledge management, and training activities
  • Overseeing the organization of workshops and events
  • Keeping track of new developments and emerging issues in the field of learning development.
  • Supporting employees with briefers, internal presentations and facilitate cross-mission training and learning opportunities
  • Reviewing and reporting on feedback, correspondence or other issues pertaining to training and communication development
  • Listen and bring awareness to all learning content across intranet sites and platforms, then connect people to resources, managing any questions, comments or concerns coming from our employees

 

Skills & Qualifications

  • Proven ability to complete full training cycle ; assesses needs, plan, develop, coordinate, monitor and evaluate
  • Degree in Business/ Human Resources Management or related field or equivalent experience.
  • IT literate, proficiency with MS Office required (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • understanding of adult learning theory, human development and personality
  • Outstanding presentation skills
  • Be able to design and use assessments as a way to provide value -added insight and build the credibility of the training content
  • Strong project and time management skills
  • Prior training delivery experience is preferred
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Familiarity with creation and management of knowledge development materials
  • Experience with video editing or eLearning creation would be an advantage
  • Positive and enthusiastic with a commitment to delivering high quality service
  • Experience in providing training in person and remotely
  • Confident with the ability to develop and maintain professional relationships at all levels within the organization
